We offer one-hour group fitness classes in Wellington, led by an experienced, dedicated & knowledgeable coach who will teach, entertain & motivate! Our workouts are designed to improve functional & applicable fitness, burn calories & increase lean muscle mass & one’s overall ability to live a better & more productive life.
The CrossFit Foundations course focuses on the foundational movements & lifts from the world of CrossFit and is designed for athletes brand new to the sport. Our coaches will train closely alongside each athlete, working together to develop a solid foundation to thrive in our regular programmed CrossFit classes.
Our coaches hold one or more Certified Personal Trainer credentials. Whether your goal is to improve in the sport of CrossFit or improve your overall fitness & nutrition lifestyle, our coaches are here to help. Each coach brings years of experience creating individualized programs for athletes of all skill & ability levels.

CrossFit 5200 is Wellington, Colorado’s first and only licensed CrossFit gym! CrossFit 5200 provides a positive, challenging, and motivating environment that promotes health, fitness, well-being, and community development. Meet Our Trainers
Adam was born and raised in Cheyenne, WY, but has lived all over this big, beautiful country of ours the past 16 years. Following an NAIA college baseball career, Adam decided to pursue a master’s degree in Sport Psychology and Counseling, further developing his fascination with the mindset and mental approach behind exceptional performance.
Before diving headfirst into opening a CrossFit Gym, Adam spent six years working with the US Army on a contractor basis, teaching Sport Psychology and Resilience skills to Soldiers and their families. This rewarding career took Adam to El Paso for three years, and then onto Savannah, GA for another three before heading back out west. Adam’s journey through the CrossFit world the past nine years has given him a glimpse into the mindset of this awesome community, and he loves having the chance to watch it unfold from a coach and owner’s perspective as well.
Ashley was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska and received a Bachelors degree In Exercise Science at University of Nebraska at Omaha while running Cross Country and Track. Ashley developed a strong passion for Athletic development, which later lead her to receive her Master’s degree in Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse.
Ashley worked as a Graduate Assistant in La Crosse focusing on teaching basic Anatomy/exercise physiology to undergrads while researching the effects of fatigue in football players during their off-season. After her master’s program she moved out to Cheyenne Wyoming with her Husband to start her coaching career. She has spent the last 2 Years training individuals one on one and in group settings. She can’t wait to get started with the CrossFit community and to help develop the athlete inside each individual.
Valerie grew up in Loveland, CO but has been in Wellington for almost 10 years. She graduated from Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science focused on livestock breeding and genetics.
Valerie has worked with livestock most of her adult life which is what brought her to the Crossfit community. The physical requirements of farming and ranching are extremely high, so she sought a program that could increase her strength in those functional day-to-day movements. That is exactly what she found in Crossfit and has been immersed in the community ever since. She has been training at Crossfit gyms since 2015 and has trained in gyms all over the world. She is excited to be a part of Crossfit 5200’s community and to help members train to improve their health and wellness in their everyday lives.
